As of August 31, 2022, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the final design phase. Engineer firm information has not been disclosed. The City of Westbrook, Maine is seeking proposals from qualified firms (or teams) to revitalize the Cornelia Warren Recreational Area (otherwise, known as "Warren Rec Complex"), located at 389 Main Street in Westbrook. Proposals will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. All questions shall be directed, in writing, to Robyn Saunders by noon on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. Questions received after this time will not be addressed. Responses from the City that substantially alter this RFP will be issued in the form of a written addendum to all those that have expressed interest in the project on or by Wednesday, August 12, 2020. Oral explanations or interpretations given before the award of contract will not be binding The City of Westbrook reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to waive any technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any Proposal that it may deem to be in the best interests of the City. As of September 30, 2020, this project is currently under evaluation stage. A notice of intent to award a design firm has not been scheduled. A construction timeline has not been determined.
