Renovation of a municipal facility in West Orange, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Project consists of furnishing and installation of a new electrical panel, conduits, and wires for a new outdoor emergency diesel generator in Municipal Building as shown on the design drawings. Township of West Orange has purchased a new emergency diesel generator, automatic transfer switch, and portable generator connection panel from Cummins. Contractor shall install the emergency generator, ATS, and portable generator connection panel. Township of West Orange will obtain Cummins to test and start the generators. Each Proposal will be made upon the prescribed forms furnished with the Specifications, and will be accompanied by a Bidder's Certified or Cashier's Check drawn on a solvent bank, in the sum of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, but in no case in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00), or in lieu of a Certified or Cashier's Check, a Bid Bond in the same amount prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached hereto, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a Surety Company approved by the Township of West Orange.The Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond acceptable to the Township of West Orange, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The right is hereby reserved to reject any and all bids or any part thereof or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities, to reject unbalanced bids, and to accept any bid or bids if deemed in the best interest of the Township of West Orange to do so.
