Site work and paving for a road / highway in Quincy, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing construction services for the following project: Scotland and Dover Road Safety Improvements This project will include safety upgrades to consist of adding paved shoulders, guardrail improvements, upgrading pavement markings and signage to include rumble strips at edge lines and the centerline, enhancing curve warning signs, upgrading signs at intersections, and adding chevrons where needed. Completion date for this project will be 120 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $1,170.00 per day. The bidder or their subcontractor shall be prequalified in the following work classes; Flexible Paving, Hot Plant-Mixed Bituminous Course, Pavement Markings, and Roadway Signing.
