The Engineer's estimate is $300,000 to $500,000. The Project includes the replacement/installation of approximately 3,050 linear feet of 10-inch PVC sanitary sewer along Tower Road in Clinton Township, Butler County via both boring and open cut methods. The Issuing Office for Bidding Documents is: Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc., 200 West Kensinger Drive, Suite 400, Cranberry Township, PA 16066. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents online at electronically. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 8/6/2020 4:00 PM A pre-bid conference for the Project will NOT be held. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted via online in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Telephone inquiries are unacceptable. The estimated cost for the Contract is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. The Saxonburg Area Authority reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Saxonburg Area Authority and to reject any or all proposals.
