Site work for a water / sewer project in Massapequa Park, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This Contract generally consists of the demolition of the existing precast hollow core plank equalization tank top slab, replacement of the equalization tank top slab with cast-in-place concrete top slab, installation of a coating system on the proposed top slab, site restoration and other work as shown and called for in conformance with the Contract Documents. The Contract Documents, consisting of Advertisement for Bids, Instructions to Bidders, Bid, Bid Bond, Agreement, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Payment Bond, Performance Bond, Maintenance Bond, Specifications, Drawings and Addenda may be examined at the following location: Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified or bank cashier's check made payable to OWNER, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety licensed to conduct business in the state where the Project is located and having a Best Rating of A- or better from A.M. Best Company and named in the current list of "Companies Holding Certificates of Authority as Sureties on Federal Bonds and as Acceptable Reinsuring Companies" as published in Circular 570 (amended) by the Financial Management Service, Surety Bond Branch, U.S. Department of the Treasury, in an amount not less than five percent of the amount of the Bid submitted.
