The Town requires a qualified and experienced Contractor for the supply of all labour, material, and equipment necessary for the stream rehabilitation works at Willow Farm Lane watercourse as shown in the Contract Drawings and outlined in this RFT. Below is a brief description of the works primarily included in this project but not limited to: a) installation of access and staging areas, maintaining overland drainage b) installation of erosion and sediment control/tree protection fencing c) installation of temporary crossings d) tree removals, clearing and grubbing e) flow management including diversion, flow control and bypass pumping of flow from the storm sewer outfall, tannery creek tributary and active groundwater seepage on site f) excavation and removal of on-site debris including cut/fallen woods and trees g) groundwater dewatering/pumping as required h) clearing debris from existing culverts i) removal and installation of stone retaining walls j) construction of vegetated buttresses k) removal and installation of storm sewer and sewer outfall headwall l) channel realignment using riffle pool morphology and boulder ribs m) channel realignment using cascade roundstone and boulder ribs n) repair/reconstruction of the eroded trail and replacement of railing o) placement of vegetation & site restoration p) remove temporary crossing and decommission flow management.
