Demolition, site work, remodeling, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for the addition of a 15,000-square-foot, three-story above grade municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a multi-residential development; for site work for a multi-residential development; multi-residential development; office development; multi-residential development; office development; and for the remodel of a municipal facility.
Project consists of a 3-story addition to the west end of the existing structure comprising approximately a total of 15,000 gsf. The main floor will comprise administrative office space for CISS with a small amount of remodeling work. The second and third floors of the addition will provide a total of 24 efficiency apartments . Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. 1. The Project shall commence upon execution of the contract and filing of necessary insurance and bond documents. B. The work under the Contract shall achieve Substantial Completion no later than August 31, 2021 Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder
