The deadline for submitting RFIs is July 26, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. This project includes the roof replacement of existing buildings, including the Front Entry Building, the Administration Building A, the Service Building B, seven 7) Dormitory Buildings D, E, F, G, H, J and L, and the Back Gate Building at Wilcox State Prison. The Administration Building, which is approximately 40,075 square feet, and the Front and Back Gate Buildings, which total approximately 1,680 square feet, are 27 years old. Six of the dormitory buildings are 25 years old, 5) building roofs are approximately 24,170 square feet each, 1) is approximately 26,078 square feet. These buildings are gravel surfaced built up roofs, partial metal deck and partial concrete deck. The existing roof systems are to be demolished to the deck and replaced with a single ply membrane roof system. The Service Building B, approximately 56,390 square feet and Dormitory Building L, approximately 15,497 square feet are existing metal roof systems that will receive an elastomeric coating.
