Location: Great Barrington Project Type: Highway - Construction A Proposal Guaranty in the amount of 5% of the value of the bid is required. This project is subject to the schedule of prevailing wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Labor and Workforce Development, the Division of Occupational Safety, and the United States Department of Labor. MassDOT - Roundabout Construction and Related Work at Main and South Main Streets (Routes 7, 23, 41) and Maple Avenue (Routes 23, 41) PROJECT VALUE = $2,077,000.00 Labor participation goals for this Project shall be 15.3% for minorities and 6.9% for women for each job category. The goals are applicable to both Contractor's and Subcontractors on-site construction workforce. Refer to Document 00820 for details. The work under this Contract consists of improvements to Main Street, South Main Street, and Maple Avenue in the Town of Great Barrington. The project includes the following: . Removing the existing signalized intersection and islands . Constructing a new three-legged roundabout . Furnishing and installingRectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons . Construction of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant wheelchair ramps . Constructing sidewalks and driveways . Pavement micro milling . Full depth pavement construction . Underground and overhead utility modifications . Placing new pavement markings and signs . Furnishing and installing granite curb . Supplying and placing loam and seed
