The Madison County Board of Supervisors will receive sealed bids for the following construction project to include:Irrigation System Sidewalk removal/new installation (Alternate 1) Grading and sod installation (Alternate 2 For any questions relating to the electronic submission process, please call Kesha Buckner at 601-855-5534. All sealed bids submitted shall have the bidders name and name of the project written on the outside face of the envelope for which a bid is being submitted. If any envelope is not so marked, said bid shall not be opened or considered. All bids must comply with the specifications provided. Madison County reserves the right to amend the specifications, as necessary, and agrees to notify all who have requested bid packets. The Madison County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received. The Bid must be accompanied by a Bid guaranty which shall not be less than 5 percent of the amount of the total of the Base Bid Work shall be started immediately upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Prior to this, contracts and beginning documents will have been executed and insurance in force. The completion of this work is to be on or before the time indicated in the Standard Form of Agreement Between the Owner and the Contractor. 1. Canton Flea Market: This event occurs on the second Thursday of May and October. The Contractor will be required to cease work and provide an open, safe site for the public to access and use for a period of 7 consecutive days around these dates.
