Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a swimming pool; for the construction of a swimming pool; for site work for a swimming pool; and playground / park / athletic field.
The proposed New Aquatics Facility - Colony Park District Park improvements will consist of the construction of a new pool facility with two pools, bathhouses, mechanical pump house, pool decking, sidewalks, parking and drives, and utilities to support the new facility. Stormwater management will include rain gardens for stormwater treatment and stormwater detention. Colony Park Pool - The Work of this contract comprises the construction of a new community pool facility. The facility will provide two outdoor suspended structure concrete/plaster pools (4,011sf Lap Pool and 3,348sf Leisure Pool), 11,900sf suspended concrete pool/circulation deck on piers, and 6,968sf of suspended concrete and steel structure support facilities (building - Type 2B Construction) which include community multi-purpose/classroom, public toilet/shower and changing rooms, storage rooms, pool mechanical room, chemical storage rooms, lifeguard room, and first aid room. Site work consists of new asphalt pavement drives and parking, parking and pedestrian lighting, concrete sidewalks and hardscape, irrigation, and rain gardens. And construction of sanitary sewer, domestic water, gas and electrical utility services as required to support the facility Flintco, LLC (CM @ Risk) is requesting proposals from Trade Partners for the Givens Park District Park Community Pool & Colony Park District Pool. The Givens Park District Pool project will include the renovation of the existing bathhouse and pool. It is classified as a Community Pool and will include the following: lap lane pool, zero entry activity pool, diving board, family restrooms, deck space, training/party room and aquatic office space. The Colony Park District project will be a new aquatic facility in northeast Austin and will be classified as a Community Pool. The community pool designation provides for the following amenities: lap lane pool, zero entry activity pool (tot pool), water slide, spray ground feature, diving board, family restrooms, deck space, training/party room and aquatic office space. Scope includes: erosion control, final clean, demo/abatement, concrete, masonry, structural steel, millwork, metal wall panels, roofing, waterproofing, doors/frames/hardware, storefronts/glazing, louvers, tiling, flooring, painting, specialties, swimming pools, fabric structures, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, earthwork, site concrete, pavement markings, fencing, landscaping, utilities and ponds.
