Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mountain View, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; road / highway; and road / highway.
This project includes the construction of a new City of Mountain View public park on San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) property west of San Antonio Road, running between West El Camino Real and Fayette Drive. The park will be constructed two (2) large SFPUC underground water transmission mains running the length of the property, one 72" in diameter and the other 90" in diameter. The Contractor will be required to adhere to all special SFPUC requirements while performing work on the site. Work includes the installation of concrete, asphalt, and decomposed granite walkways, landscaping, irrigation, benches, potted trees, fencing, signage, and other park appurtenances. Pre-Qualification for Bidders:Not Required. License Type Required: Class A, General Engineering Contractor. Engineer's Estimated Cost: $1,000,000 to $1,500,000. Liquidated Damages: $500.00 Per Calendar Day. Bid Bond Percentage:10%. Project Duration: 100 Work Days.
