**As of September 02, 2020, the awarded amount is $2,119,557.40. Milling & Resurfacing, Kinnelon Road (C.R. 618) in the Borough of Kinnelon for the Morris County Department of Public Works, Division of Engineering & Transportation consisting of, but not limited to, 92,930 S.Y. HMA Milling, 3" or Less, 1,930 S.Y. HMA Milling, More than 3" to 6", 11,718 Tons Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course, 110 S.Y. Concrete Sidewalk, Reinforced, 6" Thick, 11 S.Y. Detectable Warning Surface, 179 L.F. 9"x20" Concrete Vertical Curb, 20 L.F. 9" x 6" Hot Mix Asphalt Curb, 10,193 L.F. Beam Guide Rail, Stained, 25 L.F. Beam Guide Rail, Bridge, Stained, 48 Unit Tangent Guide Rail Terminal, Stained, 4 Unit Buried Guide Rail Terminal, Stained, 22 Unit Beam Guide Rail Anchorage, Stained, 850 S.Y. Non-vegetated Surface, Hot Mix Asphalt, Reconstruct & Reset Inlets, Warning & Regulatory Signs, 106 Unit Tree Removal (various sizes up to and over 36" diameter), in addition to other miscellaneous items. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, and the Bid number and title spelled out on the outermost packaging, addressed to the Purchasing Agent of the County of Morris. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) (not to exceed $20,000.00) of the total bid, payable to the County of Morris, as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to the Bidder, they will enter into a contract and provide the necessary bonds and insurance as required by the County and the Division of Risk Management. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond as specified in the Contract Documents. Each bid must be accompanied with a consent of surety which states that the surety company will provide the Bidder with the performance bond specified in the Contract Documents in the event the Bidder is awarded the Contract. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Bid and Proposal requests herein are solicited through a fair and open process, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq. The vendor shall maintain all documentation related to products, transactions or services under this contract for a period of five years from the date of final payment. Such records shall be made available to the New Jersey Office of the State Comptroller upon request. Accordingly, we ask that Bidders/Respondents may wish to consider not attending the Bid Openings in person. We do note that if Bidders/Respondents choose to attend, they are required to be screened by Courthouse security. If they show any signs of illness, they will not be permitted access to the building. Due to the circumstances, during the bid opening process, a bid review and providing unit prices will not take place at the openings. Instead, this information will be posted online once available. Bidders/Respondents are encouraged to MAIL in bids and responses. If they must be hand delivered, the County of Morris has a drop box located in the Lobby of the Administration and Records Building, 10 Court Street, Morristown, New Jersey.
