As of July 29, 2024, no building permits have been issued for this project as it is in the planning phase. The architect has been identified and information regarding the method of general contractor selection is unavailable. A firm construction timeline has not been established; however, construction could begin in 2028. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. --- The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to request professional services for the County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works (County) for its Huasna Road at Arroyo Grande Creek Bridge Replacement Project (State Bridge No. 49C-0124). The project is located at the intersection of Huasna Road and Lopez Drive, 0.9 of a mile northeasterly of the easterly boundary line of the City of Arroyo Grande in southern San Luis Obispo County. See Vicinity Map attached as Appendix B. The federal lead agency for the project is the Federal Highway Administration with oversight from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) District 5 Division of Local Assistance. The project shall fully comply with Chapter 6 of the Local Assistance Programs Guidelines (LAPG) and the entire Local Assistance Procedures Manual (LAPM).
