Site work and asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Wallingford, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; and for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is a seeking a Bidder to provide asbestos abatement at the Ingham Lake Wildlife. Ingham Lake Wildlife is located at 2203 Ingham Lake Road, Wallingford, IA 51365. The project will start after August 29, 2020. PRICING: Bidder must provide an all-inclusive pricing. The all-inclusive price must cover all charges associated with the project. ATTACHMENT 1: The inspection report and pictures are provided in Attachment #1. SCOPE OF WORK: 1) The Bidder must completely remove, containerize, and dispose of all visible accumulation of asbestos containing materials (ACM) and debris from Ingham Lake Wildlife. 2) ACM is existent on the walls and ceilings (drywall-plaster texture - approximately 5,000 sq. ft.), kitchen linoleum under laminate flooring, cement wall board from furnace room., heat paper on furnace, and roof tar on roof protrusions (base of chimney and vents). GENERAL REQUIREMNTS: 1) The Bidder must provide, perform, and complete all necessary work, labor, services, transportation, equipment, materials, and other items necessary to accomplish the abatement and disposal of asbestos. 2) Current asbestos abatement license issued by the State of Iowa. 3) A Bidder must abide by State of Iowa code and provide a ten (10) working day notification prior to commencement of work.
