The City of Columbus is accepting bids for Olentangy Trail - Arena District Connector the work for which consists of construction of a pedestrian bridge structure, asphalt pavement, lighting, electric utilities, erosion control, stormwater management feature and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract, in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, and City of Columbus Construction and Material Specifications as set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). The City anticipates issuing a notice to proceed on or about October 1, 2020. All work shall be substantially complete by July 30, 2021 . Questions pertaining to the drawings and specifications must be submitted in writing only to Columbus Recreation & Parks, ATTN: Brad Westall via email at brwestall@columbus.gov prior to Monday, August 17th, 2020 at 2:00 pm local time. Installation and maintenance of highway and street lighting, highway and street sign lighting, electronic message boards and traffic control systems, camera systems, traffic signal work, substation and line construction including overhead and underground projects for private and industrial work as in accordance with the IBEW Constitution. This Agreement includes the operation of all tools and equipment necessary for the installation of the above projects. The scope of work for the light commercial agreement shall apply to the following facilities not to exceed 200,000 square feet; office buildings, shopping centers, auto sales agencies and garages, churches, funeral homes, nursing homes, hotels, retail and wholesale facilities, small standalone manufacturing facilities when free standing and not part of a larger facility (not to exceed 50,000 square fee), solar projects (500 panels or less) unless otherwise covered under the agreement, lighting retrofits (when not associated with remodels involving branch re-circuiting) lighting retrofits shall be defined as the changing of lamps and ballasts in existing light fixtures and shall also include the one for one replacement of existing fixtures, warehouses, gas stations, food service centers, restaurants, entertainment facilities, hospitals, clinics, motels, residential buildings.
