New construction of a mixed-use development in London, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 49,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, 300-seat educational facility; and one-story above grade, 88-seat day care center.
The London District Catholic School Board is inviting Pre-qualified General Contractors to submit responses to this Request for Tender for the New Northeast London Catholic Elementary School. The development consists of the construction of a new 2-storey, 49,000 square foot, slab-on-grade school with associated new parking spaces and landscaping as required. Based on an interpretation of the factual test hole data and a review of soil and groundwater information from test holes advanced at the Site, EXP has provided geotechnical engineering guidelines to support the proposed Site development. Cornerstone Architecture Incorporated will be prime on this job. Pre-Qualified General Contractors are to submit the complete bid and are responsible for obtaining pricing from Trades listed within this tender document. Overview and any pertinent details affecting submissions as a result of the site visit will be posted as an Addendum. Award of this tender will be dependent on Board approval which will be at the end of November 2025. Construction on this project will start upon award. Mechanical and Electrical Subcontractors are prequalified as well. Documents are available at https://ldcsb.bidsandtenders.ca/ Bid values are undisclosed.
