Said proposals to be for furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction, complete in place, in accordance with plans and specifications for the following: West Booster Switchgear Replacement Project Major Components Upgrading existing generator controls Replacement of existing service entrance closed-transition switchgear with new Replacement of various building components including lighting, unit heater, motorized damper and feeders. A Contractor responding to these Bidding Documents must submit to the City/Owner a signed statement under oath by an owner or officer verifying compliance with each of the minimum criteria in Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3. No bids will be considered unless accompanied by a bidder's bond naming the City of Savage as obligee, certified check payable to the City Clerk of the City of Savage or a cash deposit equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be returned or forfeited as set forth in the Information for Bidders. The Council reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three lowest bidders for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities and informalities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interests of the City.
