Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Murphysboro, Illinois. Completed plans call civil work for a runway / taxiway.
Accepting bids project description: southern illinois airport authority will receive bids for construction of a new airport terminal building including all associated civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and kitchen equipment work as indicated on the drawings and as specified, along north airport road, murphysboro, illinois 62966. Other information: bidders will be required to provide bid security in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid price. The statutes of the state of illinois requiring not less than the prevailing rate of per-diem, legal holidays, and overtime wages in the locality where the work is to be performed, to be paid to all laborers, workmen and me- chanics employed in the execution of the contract and all other statutes of the state of illinois, and requirements of the federal aviation administration (faa) covering employment shall apply to contract awarded. Refer to other bidding requirements described in specification section 00 21 13 - instructions to bidders. No bids shall be with- drawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the owner. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
