Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to Hardin County, or by certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of Hardin County. Bid bonds shall be accompanied by proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid packet, particularly to the various prevailing wage rates, equal opportunity provisions, federal certification forms, and the requirement for a bid guaranty and a performance bond for 100% of the contract price. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Hardin County reserves the right to waive any or all informalities and/or to reject any or all bids. Selection of bids will be based on lowest and/or best bid. The total estimated cost of this project is $45,000.00
