Renovation of a parking garage in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
The primary work for the renovations will include the repairs and restoration to two existing four story stairwells work includes but is not limited to the repairs to the stair treads and risers, paint. The Minority Business Enterprise and Women Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) participation goal for this Contract is a combined goal of 13 %. The combined goal requires a reasonable representation of both MBE and WBE firm participation on the project as further set forth in Section 7 below and the general conditions of the contract. All questions or requests for information shall be submitted to John Seger at johnaseger@segerarchitects.com The applicable minority workforce utilization percentage, if any, is 4.2%. The applicable women workforce utilization percentage, if any, is 8.8%. The amount of such bid deposit shall be 5% five per cent of the value of the Bid including alternates, but excluding additional work that may be performed under Unit Prices. The Time of Completion of the Work is specified in Article 2 of the Owner - Contractor Agreement. Liquidated damages for failure to complete work on time are as stated in Article 8 of the Owner - Contractor Agreement. Work at the project site is to start no later than 13 December 2021, Under the Base Bid the date of Substantial Completion shall be no later than 15 April 2022. Per owner, all bid shave been rejected, and this will re-bid at a future date and time TBD.
