Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a civil project in Santa Ana, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Scope of work involves stormdrain repair including excavation, asphalt concrete paving, pipe removaland installation, asphalt restoration, and traffic striping. Traffic control per W.A.T.C.H. Type of award - Lump Sum. Online QA - No. Pre-Bid meeting - No. Awards will be updated electronically only after City Council meeting consideration. A scanned copy of the Bid Proposal Guaranty shall be uploaded to PlanetBids along with project bid. Bid Proposal Guaranty shall be in the form of a cashier's or certified check payable to the City of Santa Ana, or Bid Bond issued by a corporate surety, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid aggregate, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into the proposed contract if the same is awarded. The signature of the bidder on the bid bond must be notarized. CONTRACTOR shall, after award of this Contract, furnish two bonds to be approved by the CITY, one in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract price, to guarantee the faithful performance of the work (Performance Bond), and one in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract price to guarantee payment of all claims for labor and materials furnished (Payment Bond). This Contract shall not become effective until such bonds are supplied to and approved by the CITY.
