Plans call for the redevelopment of a medical facility and the construction of supportive housing, commercial, and educational areas within the medical campus. The campus will have a new medical campus, 1,090 affordable homes, public outdoor spaces and basketball court, urban farms and greenhouse,10,000-square-foot grocery store, and 7,000-square foot community center with space for educational uses. Housing will include affordable housing, supporting housing, and senior housing, in addition to new homeless shelters that will replace the existing homeless shelters. As of November 10, 2023, there will be a Draft Environmental Impact Statement virtual public hearing on November 30, 2023. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until January 8, 2023.
