Site work for a civil project in Montreal, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Upgrades, repairs and renovation to the McTavish pumping station located at 815-855 Dr Penfield Ave, Montreal, Quebec. The scope of the project includes the replacement of horizontal pumps by vertical units, repair of all process, instrumentation and control equipment, renovation/replacement of drinking water pipes and repairs of underground tanks, repairs of mechanical and electrical building equipment. The scope of the project also includes the seismic rehabilitation of the building, the HVAC system upgrades, addition of a feeder pipe to supply pumps and new 25 kV supply lines, the dismantling of equipment and the replacement of the electrical rooms as well as the redevelopment of Avenue du Docteur-Penfield and the modification of the structure of the building. Project may be implemented by construction packages. Note. Value of the construction program is estimated to be as high as $50 million. TIMELINE: Working drawings for the first construction packages (lot) of this construction program have been completed and the owner has issued a tender for this package contractor that is now followed in the report under CRM ID name Upgrading of the McTavish Pumping Station - Main Works - Lot 1. Construction start is anticipated in summer 2025. Subsequent package tender(s) will be followed in new separate reports. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
