Completed plans call for the addition of a 2,856-square-foot, two-story above grade military facility; for the demolition of a military facility; for the renovation of a military facility; and for site work for a military facility.

The general scope of Work includes a 2,856 sf, 2 story Barrack addition to existing building S-52 including, but not limited to, site utilities, selective demolition, poured concrete footings and foundation walls, concrete slab-on-grade, CMU bearing walls and interior partitions, precast hollow core concrete floor system with concrete topping, premanufactured wood roof trusses, wood sheathing, asphalt shingle roofing, burnished block and split face block veneer, steel doors and frames, aluminum storefront and aluminum doors, aluminum windows, gypsum board suspended ceilings, painting, concrete sealer/buffer, miscellaneous specialties, furnace units, ductwork, ERV system, water heaters, drains, showers, water closets, urinals, lavatories, lighting, power and data connections, and fire alarm system A certified check drawn upon a solvent bank or bid bond executed by corporations authorized to contract as surety in Iowa, and submitted on AIA Document A310 - Bid Bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid and made payable to The Adjutant General, Iowa National Guard, shall be filed with each bidder's proposal as a guarantee that the accepted bidder shall enter into a contract with the State of Iowa and file an approved surety company Performance and Payment Bond for the faithful performance Award of this contract is dependent on receiving requested Federal and/or State funding. If such funding is not received within the sixty (60) day bid guarantee after All proposals shall be filed on forms furnished, sealed, and plainly marked as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The Iowa Army National Guard reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the proposal which appears to be in the best interest of the State of Iowa.
