The Village Community Development Districts is requesting bids for NSU WWTP RAS Line Modification Project. Qualified firms wishing to respond for ITB #20B-030 NSU WWTP RAS Line Modification Project must provide all labor, services, equipment and materials described in this document, whether directly or through sub-contractors/sub-consultants. This does not, however, limit the use of sub-contractors or subconsultants. The intent of this project is to provide additional control of Return Activated Sludge to optimize treatment process at the facility and provide a higher quality effluent by changing the location RAS is introduced into the treatment process (headworks) to the Anoxic Basin. This project includes; but is not limited to, the installation of DIP, mag meters, vault, electronic actuators, gate valves and associated fittings to provide automatic control of RAS between treatment oxidation ditches. Work on this project will begin upon awarded Contractors receipt of Notice to Proceed. Substantial completion is expected in 120 calendar days with final completion 30 days following, bringing the total construction time to 150 calendar days. The completion date may be extended due to unforeseen circumstances with the approval of the District. Successful Supplier will be responsible for all work according to the attached plans to include all materials, labor, and permitting required to complete the project in a timely and professional manner. Successful Supplier and any subcontractors will be required to attend a pre-construction meeting after the bid award is approved by the District and the Agreement has been executed by all parties. Suppliers are required to attend the Mandatory onsite pre-bid conference for a clear understanding of the project. Only those Suppliers who are present at the Mandatory onsite pre-bid conference will be permitted to submit a bid in response to this solicitation. Suppliers failure to attend the Mandatory onsite pre-bid conference shall result in the non-acceptance/rejection of a proposal submittal from Supplier.
