The project site is located on the corner of Shelter Creek Drive and Valle Verde Drive along Salvador Creek in the City of Napa. The parcel address is 3700 Valle Verde Drive. The project involves biotechnical bank stabilization work. This includes the placement of large rock, coir logs, vegetated soil layer structures, erosion control fabric, and the application of seeding. The contractor shall protect the creek from the turbid discharges. No equipment is allowed in the wet channe Class A - General contractor's license is required for this project. The meeting point for the site visit will be at the project site. The site is at the intersection of Valle Verde Drive, Shelter Creek Drive, and Firefly Lane in Napa. The address is 3700 Valle Verde Drive. Contractors shall enter at the main entrance off Valle Verde Drive and proceed to the rear of the property along Salvador Creek. All interested bidders will meet at this location, sign in, and walk as a group to the project site. All questions must be e-mailed to Andrew Butler (andrew.butler@countyofnapa.org), or submitted in person at Napa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, 804 First Street, Napa, CA 94559, by August 20, 2020 at 3:30 pm. No questions will be accepted after this deadline. NCFCWCD reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
