Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Beach Haven, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the construction of a 8,400-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project shall include, but not be limited to the following: Construction of a new 60 FT x 140 FT pre-engineered metal building proposed as a storage garage. This work includes a proposed structural steel reinforced concrete slab supported on piles, metal frame building including overhead doors, windows, flood vents, electrical, mechanical, plumbing work, new storm drainage system, underground recharge system, site fill and grading, new concrete sidewalk, concrete aprons, concrete curb and new gravel surface for parking lot and driveways. Alternate Bid Construction of a raised metal mezzanine including stairs and safety railings. Bids may be submitted by mail or in person at any time prior to the time for receiving and opening the same. Bidders are required to comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. A Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Borough of Beach Haven in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security, but not more than $20,000.00. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the amount of the total bid within ten (10) days from the date of written acceptance of his proposal. Certificates of Insurance will also be required. If a Fed Ex or UPS Account is not available and they need to be mailed, an additional payment of $30.00 will be required and that check must be made payable to Owen, Little & Associates, Inc. Official documents must be purchased from Owen, Little & Associates for Bid Submission. No downloaded documents will be accepted as we cannot guarantee accuracy. The Borough of Beach Haven hereby reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. The Borough further reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids submitted, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the lowest Total Bid Amount and to make such awards or take such action as may be in the best interest of the Borough.
