A new communication riser with new intelligent system controllers was provided as part of Phase I work, which was installed in each of the four telecom risers and to each floor. Phase I included the centralization of the 4th floor (field) door controllers only. The intent of this bid call is to solicit and receive formal offers to perform the following work: Provide services to locate and confirm all existing access control panel locations in coordination with drawings. Provide access control components to facilitate upgrade access control architecture where shown on drawings or indicated by specification to centralize the door controllers on the remainder of the floors. All new ACS hardware shall be compatible with existing ACS hardware and software currently in use by Alberta Infrastructure, UTC LENEL OnGuard. Add to existing ACS equipment licenses as required to complete the new scope of work. Contractor to install new ACS hardware including cabling. Terminate, label, and test all hardware as required. ACS equipment shall connect the Alberta Infrastructure network. Device configuration by the security integrator. Provide new pre-wired power supply devices as shown; include electrical connection to base building emergency power. Provide additional conduit and raceways as shown and as required to facilitate new system physical architecture. Provide all programming and testing as required to facility new physical architecture. Provide for new access control system combo cable from locations indicated back to new central location; include all termination, labeling, and testing. Remove and dispose all abandoned access control cable. Provide security services as required to ensure that the access control doors in transition remain secure during the course of construction. Award subject to final approval.
