Bid proposals must be submitted, in duplicate, on copies of the "General Construction Bid Form" included in the specifications and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or cash in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid (100%). The Bid Bond, if used, shall be payable to the Owner. Performance and Payment Bond will be required from the successful bidder. PROJECT DESCRIPTION A. The Project consists of the paving of parking areas, vehicle circulation roadways, and drive areas around an existing playground areas on the campus of Kossuth Elementary. The base bid portion and all accepted alternates shall be substantially complete within 45 consecutive calendar days from the date of issuance of the "proceed order" and shall reach "final completion" with all Punch List items complete within 7 consecutive calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.
