The proposed work for this project includes two phases of work. Phase one includes, but is not necessarily limited to, replacing the existing steel plate auxiliary spillway with a precast concrete outlet control structure, and replacing the existing 48-inch corrugated metal auxiliary pipe with a 48-inch polypropylene pipe. Phase two includes, but is not necessarily limited to, replacing the existing arch culvert bridge with a three-sided precast concrete box culvert, replacing the primary labyrinth weir spillway with two precast concrete outlet control structures. Additional construction activities include construction of temporary cofferdams, installation of erosion controls, slope protection, scour mitigation, and final paving/landscaping to restore the site to preconstruction conditions.
