Renovation of a residential development in Kenner, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
As of October 15, 2020 the project is not yet awarded. A timeline for award is not yet determined. New Hope Community Development Corporation (NHCDC), a certified Community Housing Development Organization, has partnered with the City of Kenner to purchase and rehabilitate homes in the City of Kenner to sell to income eligible families. This project is funded with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HOME funds. NHCDC is releasing two (2) bids for construction projects. Below are the instruction for those interested in participating: Pre-Bid Conference: There will NOT be a pre-bid conference. Any questions regarding this bid can be referred to Tamithia P. Shaw, Esq., Director, Community Development at (504) 468-7588. NHCDC reserve the right to accept or reject any and all bids in whole or in part.
