Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Auburn, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Addendum 1 and 2 are available as of 1/29/25. The major items of work include the Auburn Way South (AWS) Corridor Improvements project proposes to widen Auburn Way S (SR-164) between Hemlock St SE and Poplar St SE within the City of Auburn. These improvements include adding two additional driving lanes as well as curb, gutter, sidewalk, intermittent center medians, bus pullouts, a midblock pedestrian crossing, reconstructing Poplar St SE on a new alignment, storm drainage, pavement overlay, and illumination. The project also includes upgrading a water main between Noble Ct SE and Redwood Ct SE. The entire project, including cleanup, shall be physically completed within 250 working days. Project is funded by federal grant, state grant and city funds. Requirements stipulated for Federal and other governmental funding have been incorporated into the Contract Documents and require full compliance by the Contractor and any subcontractor hired by the Contractor. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements on this project are 14% certified DBE. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or proposal bond (surety bond) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such Contract and furnish satisfactory Contract Bond within the time stated in the Bid Documents, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Auburn. Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond. The City of Auburn does not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age or handicap in consideration for a project award. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities or irregularities and to accept any bid if such action is believed to be for the best interest of the City of Auburn. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
