The Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition; concrete foundation & slab-on-grade, masonry exterior walls of reinforced concrete masonry units and brick veneer with stone trim; structural steel framing, steel joints and steel deck; metal panel roof, wall, fascia, interior liner panel systems; metal stud framing; thermal insulation; sheathing; paint finishes, doors and hardware; bridge crane and hoist equipment; vehicle exhaust system; HVAC systems; plumbing systems; electrical power and lighting; fire alarm and detection systems. Alternate bids for solar array panel and interior LED replacement. Estimate: $1,177,000 to $1,619,000 MBE/WBE/SDVE Goals: MBE 10%, WBE 10%, and SDVE 3%. NOTE: Only MBE/WBE firms certified by the State of Missouri Office of Equal Opportunity as of the date of bid opening, or SDVE(s) meeting the requirements of Section 34.074, RSMo and 1 CSR 30-5.010, can be used to satisfy the MBE/WBE/SDVE participation goals for this project. The contractor shall pay not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages for work of a similar character in the locality in which the work is performed, as determined by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations and as set out in the detailed plans and specifications. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 20 working days subsequent to the specified bid opening time. The State reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities in bids.
