Site work for a water / sewer project in Lake Zurich, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Village of Lake Zurich is requesting bids from qualified firms and/or individuals to perform pipe lining of sanitary sewer transmission mains and storm sewer lines. The work generally consists of cleaning and closed circuit television inspection of piping to be lined, designing and providing temporary by-pass pumping of sewage to complete lining as required, rehabilitation of approximately 5,506 lineal feet of 8- inch, 3,171 lineal feet of 30- inch, and 745 lineal feet of 36-inch sanitary sewer with C u r e d - i n -Pl a c e - Pipe (CIPP), rehabilitation of approximately 1,250 lineal feet of 15-inch storm sewer with Cured-in-Place-Pipe (CIPP), manhole rehabilitation or repair for approximately 42 manholes including chemical grouting and/or cementitious mix, all testing for acceptance, reinstatement of 125 sanitary service laterals and restoration of disturbed areas. Bidders must be qualified to perform Cured-in-PlacePipe lining and shall have successfully installed a minimum of 200,000 total feet of 12-inch or greater liner in municipal wastewater collection systems and shall submit documentation to the Owner substantiating this experience. Results will be posted publicly by electronically The successful bidder shall warrant and guarantee that the bid price will be firm and that there will not be an escalation at time of construction. The Village of Lake Zurich reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, and to waive any technicality, informality or irregularity in the proposals received, and to disregard all nonconforming or conditional proposals or counter-proposals and to hold the proposal for sixty (60) days from the opening date set forth above. The Village further reserves the right in its sole discretion to award the proposal to the most responsible bidder whose offer best responds in quality, fitness and capacity to the requirements of the proposed work or usage and therefore is in the best interest of the Village.
