The City of Meridian, Idaho is seeking proposals from respondents to provide Pressure Filtration System equipment. The overall project is the demolition of the existing facilities and installation of a new well pump and pressure filtration system to reduce aesthetic pollutants from the potable supply delivered by the City of Meridian's Well No. 18. The filtration system will treat the full 2,400 gallons per minute well capacity. The filtration unit will be installed in a new building to be constructed as part of this project and will be integrated into the Owner's existing control system. The filter effluent will be routed directly to the distribution system at approximately 85 psi, and the backwash will be routed to the existing gravity sewer system after an equalization storage basin.
