CONTACT PERSON: Joel Martinez PHONE: (520) 545-2052 SUSD reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or any part thereof; unless specified otherwise, and to waive any informalities in any bid (for any reason whatsoever), deemed by us to be for the best interest of the District. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond payable to the owner in amount not less than 10% of the maximum amount of the bid. The certified check, cashier's check or bid bond shall be given as a guarantee of intent to the bidder to enter into a contract should his bid be accepted or as liquidated damages to the owner in the event of failure or refusal of the bidder to enter into a contract. The certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. The successful bidder shall provide the following: (a) 100% performance bond with power of attorney; (b) 100% labor and materials payment bond; (c) certificate of insurance with the following limits: $100,000.00 each accident;$300,000.00 multiple accident, and $100,000.00 property damage; and (d) certificate of workmen's compensation insurance.
