Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Eagle, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a museum; for site work for a museum; and for paving for a museum.
This project is being let using a new single prime bidding and contracting process. DFD will publicly 24 bid the applicable mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEP) divisions of work first. Within 25 5 days of the MEP bid opening, DFD will identify a lowest, qualified, responsible, certified bidder in each 26 applicable MEP division of work. These successful MEP bids must be included in all general prime contractor 27 bids received. No later than 5 days after DFD identifies the successful MEP bids, DFD will publicly open 28 general prime contractor bids. General prime contractor bids that do not include the successful MEP 29 bids will be rejected. The state will enter into a single contract with the lowest, qualified, responsible, 30 certified general prime contractor and this general prime contractor will enter into subcontracts with the 31 successful MEP bidders. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. In general, the work consists of a new brewery building of approximately 3,657 gross square feet and a new 696 gross square foot foundation for a relocated historic tavern. The project is located atW372 S9727 Hwy 40 67 on the Old World Wisconsin Outdoor Ethnic Museum site located in Eagle, Wisconsin. The work scope 41 includes cast-in-place concrete, unit masonry, limestone, structural steel framing, metal fabrications, wood 42 framing, rough carpentry, interior and exterior finish carpentry, interior architectural woodwork, 43 dampproofing, weather barriers, wood shake roofing, wood siding, sheet metal flashing and trim, sheet metal 44 roofing specialties, sealants, hollow metal frames, stile and rail wood doors and frames, wood windows, 45 hardware, operable wall louvers, GWB, ceramic tiling, painting, signage, toilet accessories, fire 46 extinguishers, plumbing, lighting and light controls, electrical / IT wiring, earthmoving, erosion control, 47 polymer-based decomposed granite paving, asphalt paving, seeding, water utility distribution, sanitary48 sewerage utilities, and storm drainage utilities MEP BIDDERS: 2:00 P.M.,September 17, 2020.
