The scope of work includes repair work to the Landing Road Bridge, including installation and removal of temporary water control structure, installation of new mortar joints between the granite block facing on the abutments, anchoring of displaced granite blocks on abutments, sealing of vertical joints between the wing walls and abutments, repairing of spalling concrete areas of the south utility bay, installation of new pipe insulation in the south utility bay, repairing of deteriorated concrete in the south sidewalk at the west abutment, attachment of approach guardrails at all four corners, installation of guardrail posts, repairing of spalling concrete and exposed reinforcing steel in the bridge rail, repairing of cracks in the underside of the superstructure slab, installation of new waterproofing membrane over the top of the concrete superstructure, pavement restoration over the superstructure, and other work as shown on the bid plans.
