Renovation of a day care center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a day care center.
As of October 15, 2020 the project is not yet awarded. A timeline for award is not yet determined. Existing broadloom carpet and wall base in Corridors, Commons spaces and select Classrooms will be removed and replaced with new luxury vinyl tile flooring and wall base. The existing Cafeteria sheet linoleum will also be removed and replaced with new luxury vinyl tile flooring and wall base. Small areas of carpet will be replaced with walk-off carpet tile near vestibules. New transition strips may be required where new flooring meets with existing. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a surety bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. Performance and Payment bonds will be required. If this Bid is accepted, we will: Work on a phased work schedule that will be determined in coordination with the Owner, with a total completion no later than April 16th, 2021. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to withdraw this bid request at any time and for any reason and to issue such clarifications, modifications and/or amendments as it may deem appropriate. The Owner also reserves the right to waive any informality in or reject any part of a bid, accept or reject any or all bids, alternates, or proposals, and to accept those bids, alternates, or proposals that, in Owner's judgement, serve the Owner's best interests.
