Remodeling of a municipal facility in Apex, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.
With the opening of Mason Street Municipal Building, the Planning and Building Inspections Departments have relocated out of Town Hall. This project funds Town Hall design changes following the FY19-20 space needs study recommendations, which has identified areas to renovate or change to improve and increase the building's physical capacity. This project will anticipate growth and changes for each department and consider interactions between departments. As of November 15, 2024, this project is under construction. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
