Site work for a water / sewer project in Norman, Oklahoma. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

In conjunction with the Public Works project that will widen Jenkins Avenue from Constitution Avenue to Lindsey Street, this project will replace the exiting 6-inch water line along Jenkins Avenue from Lindsey Street to Timberdell Drive. Approximately 2,800 linear feet of 12- inch water line will be required. Right of way is assumed to be included within the scope of the Public Works project. By completing this project at the same time as the widening, the impact to the residents and the public will be reduced and overall cost to the City should be reduced. As of November 21, 2023, Project is in City of Norman- Public Works- Capital Budget Fiscal year 2024-2028. The city is currently in the process of securing funding for this project. This project is still in the engineering phase. A bidding timeline for contractors has not been released.
