As of October 7,2020 project was awarded to Baldwin Contracting amount of $1,417,837.00. Targeting to start last week of October 2020 and has three weeks to complete the project. The work in general consists of replacing asphalt surfacing, placing asphalt concrete overlay, placing aggregate base shoulders, and placing traffic striping along Feather River Boulevard from Algodon Road to Ella Avenue. Other such items or details not mentioned above that are required by the standard specifications or these special provisions shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed. Question Submission Deadline: September 4, 2020, 5:00pm The contract shall be executed by the successful bidder and shall be returned, together with the Payment Bond, Performance Bond and Certificate(s) of Insurance to the County so that it is received within 8 working days after the bidder has received the contract for execution. Failure to do so shall be just cause for forfeiture of the proposal guaranty. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashier's check, or bid bond, in the amount of 10% of the total bid price, payable to Yuba County Department of Public Works, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening.
