Renovation of an educational facility in Farmville, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The project is generally described as the demolition of two chiller systems and providing a single combined chiller system to serve both Hiner and Coyner Halls as indicated on the drawings and in the specifications. Work also includes chiller roof rack support, equipment screen wall, associated electrical work, and roof repair. Ceiling work and wall chase(s) will also be required for concealing pipe. The University will not accept questions after the stated deadline. In Compliance With This Invitation For Bids And To All The Conditions Imposed Herein, The Undersigned Offers And Agrees to Furnish the Services at the Price(s) Indicated On Bid Form. The purpose of the pre-bid conference is to discuss with prospective Bidders the scope of work and to answer questions arising from their initial review of this IFB. Bidders should have reviewed the IFB thoroughly before the pre-bid conference and be familiar with its contents. Please have a copy of the solicitation with you. Any changes resulting from this conference will be issued in a written addendum to the solicitation. Parking to deliver your bid is difficult, please plan to arrive early. If you require ada accomodations to deliver bid, contact the materiel management & purchasing office at (434) 395- 2093 twenty-four (24) hours prior to solicitation closing. This public body does not discriminate against faith-based organizations in accordance with the Code of Virginia, 11-35.1 or against a bidder because of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other basis prohibited by state law relating to discrimination in employment. Those wishing to attend the bid opening must request the ZOOM link by sending an email to materielmanagement@longwood.edu by 5:00 P.M. on September 18, 2020. A Bid Bond is required. Bidder must use the Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond (DGS-30-090, Rev 12/07) to submit their bid bond. Upon award of contract, the Contractor must submit a copy of their company's COVID-19 response plan when returning the signed contracts to the University. Contractor registration is required in accordance with Section 54.1-1103 of the Code of Virginia. See the Invitation for Bids for additional qualification requirements. All executive branch agencies are directed to advance Executive Order 35, dated July 3, 2019.
