Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Gilbertsville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
Construct two 8-unit T-Hangars and Associated Pavement, Kentucky Dam State Park Airport, Gilbertsville, Marshall County, Kentucky. The scope of this project consists of constructing two 8-unit T-Hangars. Associated work items include unclassified excavation, pavement removal, pavement marking, concrete footing foundations, utility connections, storm drainage structure and pipe installation, and bituminous pavement. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: The scope of this project consists of the furnishing, constructing, and erecting of two 8-unit thangar buildings and their associated taxilanes. Associated work items include, but is not limited to, t-hangar building erection, concrete floors, footing foundations, bituminous pavement, markings, removal and replacement of aircraft tie-downs, pavement removal, unclassified excavation, utility connections, seeding and incidental work.
