The City of Cotulla (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Cotulla-La Salle Airport Elevated Storage Tank Project This project, the Cotulla-La Salle Airport Elevated Storage Tank, includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and all other facilities and incidentals necessary for construction of a 200,000 gallon multi-column steel elevated water storage tank, construction of site piping and off-site piping to connect to existing water distribution system including valves and appurtenances, construction of electrical facilities for operations, and site improvements including service road, fence, and site grading. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bidder accepts the provisions of the Agreement with regards to liquidated damages. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of five percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. When Contractor delivers the signed counterparts of the Agreement to Owner, Contractor shall also deliver to Owner the performance bond and payment bond (if the Contract requires Contractor to furnish such bonds).
