The new bridge will have a length of 216' and roadway width of 32', with a 19 degree skew. Reconstruction for the bridge approach will begin approximately 215' north of the bridge and end approximately 45' south of the bridge. A MGS W-beam guardrail and Type 1 end treatments will be installed. The southeast corner of the bridge will include a curved guardrail terminal system. Scour protection for end bents will be provided by installing revetment riprap. Approximately 200 cubic yards of riprap will extend approximately 13' upstream and 7' downstream of the bridge. Mitigation will be done for the 0.101 acresof tree removal that will occur within the floodway. Project Location: At the Admirals Pointe Drive crossing approximately 200' north of the intersection of East 86th Street and Oaklandon Road at Indianapolis. This work shall consist of the removal and disposal of all types of existing sidewalk. This work shall consist of the removal and disposal of all types of existing curb, including but not limited to straight curb, roll curb, monolithic curb, combined curb and gutter, and integral curb to be removed separately from the adjacent pavement.
