Bids must be submitted on the Proposal and Schedule Form provided and be accompanied by a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashiers check (PERSONAL OR INDIVIDUAL BID BONDS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE) for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, payable to Otago Development, Inc., as a guarantee that the contractor will enter into a contract to perform the proposal in accordance with the plans and specifications. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required for this Work. The successful bidder, simultaneously with the execution of the Contract, shall be required to furnish a Payment Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, and a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The successful bidder shall name Otago Development, Inc. as obligee on both the Payment and Performance Bonds and name the City of Mesa as an additional obligee on the Performance Bond using a Dual Obligee Rider form. An approved Dual Obligee Rider Form is included in Chapter 2.
