This project proposes to construct a concrete sidewalk on one side of Adair Avenue from Randolph Street to Jo Jo Way, and on one side of Bonita Avenue from Tyler Street to Pendleton Street in the City of Riverside. The project improvements include, but are not limited to, clearing and grubbing, excavation, construction and/or reconstruction of concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks, wheelchair ramps, driveways, and installation of chain link fencing. Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid must be uploaded prior to the hour and the date stated above. Bid Security in the form of a Cashier's check or Certified check must be submitted to the Purchasing Manager, at 3900 Main Street, Riverside, CA 92522, prior to the hour and the date stated above. Both bonds shall be in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price and shall be subscribed by an Admitted Surety Insurer which is authorized to transact surety insurance business in the State of California with a policy holder's rating of A or higher and a Financial Class of VII or larger. This project is comprised of sidewalk improvements at two separate locations in the City, namely Adair Avenue from Randolph Street to Jo Jo Way, and Bonita Avenue from Tyler Street to Pendleton Street. The Contractor shall complete the work at each location within thirty (30) working days after the commencement date specified in the Notice to Proceed. The total contract duration shall be a maximum of sixty (60) working days should the Contractor decide to complete the work in one location prior to starting construction at the next location. The Contractor has the option of starting work at both locations, simultaneously, for a total contract duration of thirty (30) working days.
