The City of Bothell Public Works Department is requesting Statements of Qualifications from firms qualified and interested in providing professional services for the Bothell Way NE Widening Project - 240th St SE to Reder Way. Summary of Work: Provide planning, engineering, environmental, public involvement, right of way and construction engineering services in support of completing the project. It is anticipated that the consultant work for this project will be authorized in phases. The selected consultant must have the capability to perform all current and future phases of work, including completion the entire design and permitting process, future right of way acquisition services and construction engineering support services. The Consultant, at the option of the City, may be contracted to complete additional/future phases of work. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) goal for this professional services contract is five (5) percent. The selection of the Consultant will be such that the Consultant has the capability to complete the entire design, obtain required environmental and permitting approvals, develop a right of way plan and provide future construction engineering support services and/or other related services (at Citys option). The City may contract with the consultant initially for only a portion of the design work, such as preliminary design. However, the Consultant, at the option of the City, may also be contracted to complete additional work. Design work is expected to start in the 1st quarter of 2021. The goal is to complete final design, environmental, right of way plan and permitting approvals by the end of 2023.
